On Sunday 20th May 2012 we are extremely proud to have some
of Linthwaite’s team venturing slightly south to take part in the Bupa Great Manchester
Run.
The runners:
Andrew Nicholson - General Manager
James Conway - Duty Manager
Rebecca Shaw - HR Manager
Chris O’Callaghan - Head Chef
Sally Wilson - Receptionist
Sam Moore - Chef
They are running in aid of Hospitality Action.
For over 170 years Hospitality Action, the Hospitality
Industry Benevolent Organisation, has offered vital assistance to all who work,
or have worked within hospitality in the UK and who find themselves in
crisis.
They can provide vital support and advice to all who work,
or have worked within hospitality. This may be people suffering from life
threatening illnesses, experiencing poverty, bereavement or domestic violence,
or people with sick or disabled children. They offer grants for essential items
such as food, clothing and central heating and also support the often isolated
and lonely retired hospitality workers.
It is a fantastic cause and all money raised by our wonderful
team will certainly benefit others less fortunate than ourselves. Click here for full details on the charity.
