It's hard to put into words but there is a special atmosphere at Linthwaite to which many things contribute: the delicious and interesting food with wonderful intense flavours, the view and location, the calm relaxed environment, the attention to detail that personalises our stay like the hand written welcome note and that staff always know our names and remember odd things about our previous stays, the decor and facilities, the fact that the hotel is generally well cared for, but most of all the exceptional quality of the staff who are true professionals and all of them always make us feel completely welcome and that nothing is too much trouble!"
